Ukraine expands sanctions over Russia's aggression – six companies registered in China added to list

President Volodymyr Zelensky has enacted a decision by the National Security and Defense Council to impose sanctions, according to a decree published by the Office of the President on June 20.

 

The NSDC decision supports the proposals of the Security Service and imposes sanctions against 56 Russian citizens and 55 legal entities, most of which are registered in Russia.

 

In addition, the Belarusian company Zavod Tochnoe Elektromehaniki and six Chinese companies were included in the list:

 

- Shandong Xinyi International Trade

 

- Shenzhen Fulin Te Trading

 

- Elain Trading (Hong Kong)

 

- Mei Xin Electronics (Hong Kong)

 

- Hadsund International Technology Limited (Hong Kong)

 

- Hytra Communications Limited (Hong Kong)

 

In particular, the decision also instructs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to “inform the competent authorities of the European Union, the United States of America, and other states about the application of sanctions and raise with them the issue of introducing similar restrictive measures.”
