Belarusian detained in Poland with sanctioned inflatable boat

The boat was confiscated.

This was reported by the Lublin Customs and Tax Service Office in Biała Podlaska.

The Belarusian was entering Poland through the Terespol checkpoint. During the inspection, Polish border guards found an inflatable boat in his car. Such goods are subject to sanctions and cannot be imported into the EU.

The man will be charged with smuggling. A report on the violation of sanctions was also sent to the prosecutor's office. The boat was seized as evidence in the case. Its value is estimated at PLN 12,500 (about $3,500).
