This was stated by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna, who was quoted by the ministry’s press service, according to “European Pravda”.

As the minister noted, Estonia considers the EU’s decision to lift sanctions against Friedman and Usmanov to be wrong, as “in a situation where russia shows not the slightest desire to end the war, there are no grounds for easing the pressure of sanctions”.

“Usmanov and Friedman continue to support russia’s aggression against Ukraine and contribute to its continuation, which is why Estonia has imposed national sanctions against them,” he emphasised.
