This was reported by Le Figaro, according to European Pravda.

Among the websites subject to sanctions are sputniknews.lat, rtenfrancais.tv, news-front.su, southfront.press, and strategic-culture.su.

‘Following the official notification sent to service providers, ARCOM is now asking internet providers, domain name processing service providers and search engines to block and remove from their lists 35 official websites of russian media outlets that are subject to sanctions,’ the agency said in a statement.

ARCOM also asked search engines to block pages belonging to four streaming platforms that provide access to sanctioned russian television and radio services.

It is noted that since 2022, following russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, French satellite operator Eutelsat has stopped broadcasting russian channels NTV-Mir, Rossiya 1 and Pervy Kanal. In March 2022, ARCOM also stopped broadcasting RT France, the French-language version of the russian media outlet RT.
