German police raid property of sanctioned russian oligarch Alisher Usmanov

On October 5, German police and customs officers searched several properties in Germany that, according to a source, belonged to Alisher Usmanov, a russian businessman under EU sanctions.

A special commission of the German customs service said it was acting on the basis of court search warrants. Additional details of the operation cannot be disclosed for tactical reasons.
