In the Dnipropetrovsk region, 24 cases are being investigated into companies collaborating with russia in circumvention of sanctions

Valery Prykhozhanov, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, made this statement in an interview with Ukrinform.

According to him, in 2026, as part of an investigation into allegations of aiding the aggressor state, five individuals were served with notices of suspicion (Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). In particular, in April – the director and beneficial owner of one of the enterprises in Kryvyi Rih. According to the investigation, following the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, he organised the supply of electrical equipment to the aggressor state in circumvention of sanctions via a company under his control in one of the CIS countries; between 2023 and 2025, he facilitated the supply of over 100 units of goods worth more than 11.5 million hryvnias.

He was served with a notice of suspicion and a preventive measure was imposed – detention without the right to bail.

“In addition, our prosecutors are investigating allegations of aiding the aggressor state linked to business activities in the temporarily occupied territories,” the head of the regional prosecutor’s office stated.

In particular, he said that on 5 March, the owner of PJSC “Rubizhne Cardboard and Packaging Plant” was notified of the charges against him; according to the investigation, he, in collusion with representatives of the russian federation, was preparing to transfer funds to a representative of a russian enterprise.

And on 22 April, charges were brought against the founder of LLC “Luhansk Distillery ‘Luga-Nova’”, who, in collusion with co-owners, re-registered the enterprise under russian legislation and transferred its assets to representatives of the aggressor state.

“Work in this area is ongoing; all instances of collaboration with the aggressor state are being documented, and those responsible will be held to account,” emphasised the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor.
