Dalín gave assurances that restrictions on countries involved in the aggression would not be lifted due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

“We remain firm in our stance. As the war continues, we do not want to allow russian athletes back into competition. The russians are appealing to the CAS; we face opposition, and we are defending our position. We’ll see what happens. Will there be a hearing? I think it will take place in a few months,” said the IBU President.
