The Federal Department of Economic Affairs stated that the new additions to the lists will come into effect at 23:00 local time on 22 May.
A further 115 individuals and entities will be subject to asset freezes and a ban on the provision of funds. Individuals subject to sanctions will also be barred from entering Switzerland or transiting through its territory.
Among the new targets are individuals and entities linked to russia’s military-industrial complex and energy sector, as well as those involved in the deportation and indoctrination of Ukrainian children, the department said.
In the trade sector, a further 60 companies, including some from third countries, will face stricter export controls aimed at blocking the supply of critical goods to russia’s military industry.
