The Guarantee Fund sold the assets of former subsidiaries of russian banks for 5.5 billion

It is noted that these are assets of former subsidiaries of russian banks JSC MR Bank (formerly Sberbank) and PJSC Prominvestbank.
According to reports, over three years, the FGV has successfully sold almost 600 lots of former russian bank subsidiaries through online auctions. These include bank buildings, suburban complexes, administrative premises, land plots, office equipment, cars, property rights and rights of claim under loan agreements.
‘The proceeds from the sale of assets were used to settle with the creditors of these banks. And importantly, part of them was transferred to the state budget,’ said Oleksandr Kulchytskyi, director of the FGV's consolidated asset sales department.
According to the FGV, the successfully sold lots include:
Claims under loan agreements secured by a solar power plant and its equipment – UAH 683 million.
A suburban complex in Kozin (Kyiv region) – UAH 311.1 million. In particular, the lot includes residential buildings, a restaurant and administrative buildings.
A bank building with an extension for a private secondary school in Kyiv – UAH 107.8 million.
Former bank branch in the centre of the capital – 84.4 million UAH.
The most active competition was for cars: an average of eight participants attended the car auction. Record competition was seen during the auction for the sale of a Volkswagen Passat, with 48 participants.
