Mykola Yanovych Azarov, former Prime Minister of Ukraine during Viktor Yanukovych’s presidency (from March 2010 to January 2014).
Following the events of the ‘Revolution of Dignity’, Mykola Azarov left Ukraine, after which he began providing informational support for russia’s actions aimed at the annexation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and also publicly denied the legitimacy of the Ukrainian authorities.
Since the start of the russian federation’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Mykola Azarov has been providing informational support to the russian federation by disseminating russian propaganda aimed at justifying the russian federation’s war against Ukraine and denying the criminal nature of the aggression against Ukraine.
Oleksiy Mykolayovych Azarov, son of Mykola Azarov, is a former Member of Parliament for the ‘Party of Regions’ in the 7th convocation (from December 2012 to November 2014) and an entrepreneur.
Oleksiy Azarov left Ukraine after his father resigned as Prime Minister of Ukraine in January 2014.
O.M. Azarov has an extensive business network within the territory of the russian federation. Through his business structures, O.M. Azarov provides logistical support for armed aggression, paying taxes to the state budget of the aggressor state and manufacturing products used to provide logistical support for the russian federation’s armed aggression against Ukraine.
The Ministry of Justice has filed claims for the seizure of assets which, directly or indirectly through third parties, belong to Azarov M.Y. and Azarov O.M., in particular real estate and land plots in the city of Kyiv and the Kyiv region, cash, corporate rights, books, icons and jewellery of material and historical-cultural value.
