The UK has fined an Apple subsidiary for breaching sanctions against russia

This is stated in a government announcement, as reported by ‘European Pravda’.

 

On Monday, 30 March, the UK announced that it had imposed a fine of £390,000 ($516,000) on the Irish company Apple Distribution International Limited, a subsidiary of the American tech giant, for breaching sanctions against russia.

 

It is noted that ADI provided funds to a sanctioned individual without the necessary licence in connection with two payments made in 2022.
