The US President has signed a bill imposing sanctions on russia

This is stated in a White House statement, according to ‘European Pravda’.

According to a report from the US President’s administration, Trump signed the document on Friday 18 September (in Kyiv, in the early hours of 19 September).

The bill was drafted by the late Republican Senator Lindsey Graham and Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal, but it has a total of 119 co-sponsors in the US Congress.

On 16 September, the US House of Representatives passed the bill co-sponsored by Senators Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal imposing tariffs on countries that purchase russian energy resources.

On 7 August, the bill was passed by the US Senate.
