According to "European Pravda", this information emerged from live broadcasts of the session.

Following the debate on the ‘Graham bill’ and the consideration of a number of amendments, the bill was put to a final vote, during which senators voted 86 in favour and 11 against.

Prior to this, senators had rejected a threatening amendment tabled by Rand Paul, which could have “buried” the bill, with 64 votes against and 32 in favour.

Kateryna Lisunova, a former correspondent for Voice of America who is now a journalist with the Razom for Ukraine initiative, writes that further consideration of the bill in the House of Representatives and its adoption are unlikely to take place before September – due to the parliamentary recess until 31 August.
