The US has extended sanctions exemptions for Lukoil

According to ‘European Pravda’, this has been reported by Reuters.
The sanctions exemption applies to around 2,000 petrol stations in Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East and the Americas, and will remain in force until 29 October.
Lukoil also owns around 200 petrol stations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. It is one of the leading retailers of motor fuel in Moldova and Bulgaria. The company operates around 600 stations in Turkey and over 300 in Romania.
The US Department of the Treasury has also issued a licence permitting certain transactions with Lukoil’s oil refineries in Bulgaria, including Lukoil Neftohim Burgas JSC, which is the largest oil refinery in the Balkans.
