Two more russian students convicted in Finland for violating sanctions

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Yle.

 

A man born in 1998 was convicted of gross violation of the sanctions regime, and a woman born in 2005 was convicted of aiding and abetting a crime.

 

The man was sentenced to one year of suspended imprisonment, and the woman to four months of suspended imprisonment.

 

It is noted that they participated in the purchase in Finland and transfer to russia of so-called dual-use goods, i.e. goods suitable for military use, together with a third person.

 

The crimes took place in 2022-2024 in Kajaani.
