This was announced by Taras Melnychuk, a representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada.

‘The terms of sale of a 100% state share in the authorised capital of the limited liability company Motordetal-Konotop at an electronic auction with conditions have been approved,’ he wrote. ‘The starting price for the sale of the state's 100% stake in the authorised capital of Motor Detal-Konotop LLC at an electronic auction with conditions has been approved at 268.069 million hryvnias.’

It was also determined that the proceeds from the sale of 100% of Motor Detal-Konotop LLC will be credited to the state budget and allocated to the fund for the elimination of the consequences of armed aggression.

As reported, in March, the State Property Fund did not find any buyers for the 100% state-owned stake in the authorised capital of Motor Detal-Konotop LLC.

The starting price for the sale of the plant was UAH 278.533 million.

Earlier, the government included Motor Detal-Konotop in the list of large privatisation objects.

Motor Detal-Konotop is one of the largest factories in Europe engaged in the production of cylinder liners for automotive, tractor, ship, locomotive and stationary internal combustion engines. The company cooperates with well-known brands such as Scania, MAN, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Renault, and others.

The production structure includes iron foundries, machine shops, and auxiliary workshops.

In 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court ruled to seize 100% of the authorised capital of Motor Detal — Konotop LLC, which belonged to Federation Council Senator Sergei Kalashnikov, for the state.
