Ukraine confiscates private assets from Yanukovych and nine Russians

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, a total of nine Russian nationals and ousted President Viktor Yanukovych have had their private assets in Ukraine seized by the High Anti-Corruption Court.
This was reported by the Trap Aggressor analyst group, citing the response of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and data from the register of court decisions.
Among the Russian citizens whose assets were confiscated there are two oligarchs, Vladimir Yevtushenkov and Mikhail Shelkov; three rectors of Russian universities, Andrey Falafayev, Oleg Polukhin and Anatoly Torkunov; three State Duma deputies, Konstantin Bakharev, Roman Lyabykhov and Boris Paikin, as well as one member of the Federation Council from Crimea, Olga Kovitidi. Their shares in businesses, movable and immovable property were confiscated under the procedure established by the law "On Sanctions."
