russia has earned over 7 billion euros in two weeks thanks to the war in Iran

Euronews reports this, citing the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA).

Between 1 and 15 March, russia earned around €513 million a day from sales of oil, gas and coal. This is 8.7% higher than the figures for February.

There are two main reasons for this: rising oil prices and a temporary easing of US sanctions on russian oil due to the war in the Middle East.
