russia imports over 90% of sanctioned technologies through China, underscoring Moscow's critical dependence on Beijing for supplying its military-industrial complex.
This was reported by Bloomberg.
According to sources, this figure has risen from approximately 80% last year, despite EU efforts to cut off supply channels for prohibited goods. These include semiconductors, electronics, and other components needed for weapons production, including missiles and drones.
Despite sanctions and restrictions against companies from China and Hong Kong, Beijing continues to supply russia with key resources, as well as providing geospatial intelligence, satellite imagery, and drones.
Meanwhile, most EU countries are refraining from imposing stricter sanctions against China, fearing economic retaliation.
China itself states that it does not recognize international sanctions and continues to maintain trade relations with russia.
